The Central Library's first floor gallery features portraits by Yousef Karsh to celebrate what would have been his 100th birthday. He only made it to 93...photographers do seem to have a secret for longevity.
If there was a major personality of the 20th century, Karsh shot their portrait and extremely well. He tells a little about each one on his comprehensive website.
I couldn't resist selecting this one to show, as I'm currently re-reading Islands in the Stream.
